POLICE say they have found evidence of drug activity at a location where children frequently play in Burtonwood.
Cheshire Police was asked to patrol the Rushton Close area following reports from members of the public of drug dealing and use.
Officers attended the location on Saturday and found snap bags which are believed to have been used for drugs.
Police say they will increase patrols in the vicinity and are asking residents to report anything suspicious.

In an update, the force’s Burtonwood and Winwick Police team said: “I had reports on Saturday of possible drug dealing and use in the Rushton Close area of Burtonwood.
“When I checked this area, I found several snap bags that have possibly been used for drugs.
“This area often has kids playing in the street so if you know who is involved in the drug activity, stop them.
“I will be patrolling this area, in particular around the pathway, and if you see anything suspicious or want to let us know anything, you can call 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800555111.”
