A COUPLE who go all out with their Halloween decorations have been 'blown away' by the response.

Louise Edelstein from Crow Lane West, Newton-le-Willows, and her partner Vincent Towler, annually decorate their house with extravagant Halloween trimmings, with this year’s theme following the Netflix original series Stranger Things.

Louise is a big fan of the hit series and an even bigger fan of Halloween, which inspired this year's theme.

The Halloween enthusiasts have had visits from people both in Newton and other parts of the UK, with one young Stranger Things fan coming from Derby.

The 32-year-old and her partner have been decorating their house every year for six years and every year it is well received.

Discussing the response they have received by spectators, Louise told the Star: "We try our best to make the community happy; especially when we were in lockdown.

"Our house is a much loved and fun house to look at every year.

"For people to travel hours away just to come and look this year has blown us away; obviously we've had around six negative comments, but six compared to absolutely 100s of good ones is nothing.

"We get Halloween isn't for everyone, but it is for most and to see children, teens and even adults absolutely over the moon with our display says it all.

"I just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone and Happy Halloween."
