ORGANISERS of the Reminisce Festival have confirmed that the event will take place as planned on Saturday, September 10.
They issued a statement as the nation entered a period of national mourning after it was confirmed the Queen had died, aged 96.
The death of Britain’s longest-serving monarch in Scotland kickstarted plans outlined in Operation Unicorn and Operation London Bridge which will see major changes to daily life during the period of mourning which will impact events, sports and the economy.

Some sporting events scheduled for Friday have been cancelled as a mark of respect .
Reminisce Festival is due to take place at Sherdley Park on Saturday, with 20,000 music fans expected to attend.
Reminisce statement
In a statement organisers said the event would go ahead and that any appropriate tributes would be observed at the venue.
The Reminisce Festival statement read: "The organisers of Reminisce Festival have confirmed that the event will take place on Saturday, September 10.
"They are deeply saddened to hear of the Queen's passing and will be observing any silences or broadcasting any appropriate tributes over the weekend for festival goers who wish to pay their respects to our Queen during this momentous time in British history.
"The Reminisce Team send their heartfelt sympathy to the Queen’s family during this devastating time."
