AERIAL pictures show how giant tents are taking shape at Sherdley Park ahead of Reminisce Festival returning to St Helens.
Reminisce has grown into a huge annual event that welcomes around 19,000 music revellers.
On Saturday, September, 10, Reminisce organisers are planning to host their "biggest festival yet", with more than 160 acts and DJs travelling from across the world to play live in Sherdley Park.
With an eclectic mix of old school dance and nineties pop, this year's big names include Five, Boyzlife, Liberty X, Whigfield, and Robin S.
International DJs from across the decades will also delight crowds across the festival's seven arenas, with special appearances from Fatman Scoop and members of S Club and Girls Aloud also planned.
Last year's event was marred by controversy, with issues over long queues, internet access, and security concerns.
However, after organisers said they would take steps to improve what went wrong the festival was granted a licence.
Reminisce co-founders Steve Cocky said: "We are so grateful that we are back in Sherdley Park for the 8th Reminisce Festival and we are so ready to create yet another unforgettable day for our loyal ravers.”
"It’s been another tough year for the events and music industry with such uncertainty due to current affairs, but our ambition for Reminisce is to make everyone forget their worries, enjoy the music, and dance the day and night away!”.
This year's festival takes place on Saturday, September 10
Tickets are still on sale for the one-day event, with more details to be found at www.reminiscefestival.com
