The incident happened on the M62 near Rainhill
MOTORISTS are being warned to expect queuing traffic due to a crash earlier this morning on the M62.
The incident happened shortly after 7am on the M62 Eastbound from junction 7 Warrington Road, Rainhill Stoops to junction 8 at Burtonwood Road, Burtonwood.
Update - Traffic has been released and all lanes are now open on the #M62 eastbound between J7 (#Widnes) and J8 (#Burtonwood) following an earlier collision. There are approx. 4 miles of congestion following this incident so please allow time for these delays to clear, pic.twitter.com/aYhSfOlgZF

Traffic reports state that all lanes have since re-opened but that traffic has been queuing.
