A MAN charged with rape and multiple sexual offences will face a jury trial early next year.
Jack Williams, of Wokefield Way, Eccleston, appeared via video link from custody at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday afternoon, September 5, for a plea hearing.
The 23-year-old pleaded not guilty to one count of rape; two counts of assault by penetration; two counts of sexual assault by touching; two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) and one count of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.

During the short hearing before judge Anil Murray a trial date for Williams was set.
The judge remanded the defendant back into custody.
The trial is due to start on Monday, January 9, 2023.
It is estimated to last for four to five days.
