A WOMAN who admitted to driving without insurance has avoided disqualification.
Jessica Lowe, of Lorton Avenue, Moss Bank, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
Lowe, 28, had previously pleaded guilty to driving without insurance on Scafell Road on January 13 this year.
The case was adjourned to consider if there were special reasons for ordering a disqualification or endorsement.
Lowe was fined £300, made to pay a £34 surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown prosecution Service, making a total of £419.
Her driving record was endorsed with six points.
However, no totting disqualification was handed to Lowe.
A court sheet said this was due to "mitigating circumstances".
It says that there would be "exceptional hardship" caused "for a combination of the two reasons, loss of job and "hardship caused to elderly grandparents for which she is the sole carer for".
