A DISCOUNT day is coming to St Helens Cineworld this Saturday, with all films priced at just £3.
On Saturday, September 3, the Chalon Way venue is joining forces with cinemas across the country for 'National Cinema Day'.
Celebrating all things film and putting discounted offers on all showings, the event follows on from the inaugural 'Cineworld Day' back in February.
With all tickets priced at £3, film lovers will be able to view new releases such as The Forgiven, Fall, and 3000 Years of Longing.
This is in addition to the current blockbusters on show, which includes Top Gun: Maverick, Minions: Rise of Gru, DC League of Super Pets, Elvis, Nope, and Bullet Train.
Film buffs will also be excited to see popular re-releases such as ET The Extra-Terrestrial (40th Anniversary) and Spiderman: No Way Home (Extended Footage).
Jen Mulligan, manager at St Helens Cineworld, said: "Our Cineworld Day back February was a great success and it was fantastic to see so many people come through the doors and thoroughly enjoying the ‘big screen’.
"We had some great feedback about the day from customers who wanted to see us do a Cineworld Day again. So it’s back!
'The team are looking forward to Saturday after the success of Cineworld Day and can't wait to greet everyone here at Cineworld St Helens for another fun-filled day at the best place to watch a movie."
The team are also excited to share the big films which are coming later in the year such as Don’t Worry Darling, Black Adam, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Avatar: The Way of Water.
Although Cineworld considered filing for bankruptcy in America last month, Jen explained this does not affect stores in the UK and that it is still very much "business as usual" here.
Further Cineworld offers include a "Special Secret Screening" on Monday, September 5, as well as their Unlimited Card which gives customers discounts on films and snacks with a monthly membership.
