A CHILD bereavement centre in Earlestown was broken into last night.
Daniel Thompson, founder of Ava Marie Foundation, was alerted before midnight that an intruder was at the centre.
Daniel set up the foundation in 2019 following his baby daughter Ava Marie passing away at just 11 days old.
He said: "Around 11.30pm my ring camera picked up a person in the charity. My partner woke me up to tell me and when I looked, I saw two people in there; they looked into the camera and put it down.
"I contacted my trusted taxi company who rushed me down to the charity which is a five-minute drive.
"I heard people around the back of the charity; they had ripped the air conditioning vent off the wall and kicked the unit inside to gain access.
"The police were amazing and there within five minutes."

Merseyside Police attended the scene accompanied by dogs who soon located the second person.
Two individuals were later detained.
The previous Job Centre on Market Street was undergoing refurbishments to convert into a new hub for Ava Marie Foundation.
Daniel, 34, added: "I think it's disgusting that they have targeted any business, never mind a charity intending to support those with child loss.
"It's made me more determined to create a safe space for the community and those suffering child loss despite the sadness that someone could possibly try and destroy what I am creating."
The Child Bereavement Hub is still set to launch on Saturday, October 15, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
