POLICE have named and charged the woman who was allegedly caught drinking driving on the M6 – with a child in the car.
Sarah Vazquez was arrested on suspicion of drink driving yesterday, Saturday.
The 43-year-old was reportedly stopped at 11am in a silver BMW Series 1 on the M6 between junction 18, Knutsford, and junction 19, Tabley.
When stopped by officers, police say she was breathylsed and found to have blown 164 – which is four times over the legal limit of 35.
A child was also found to be in the vehicle at the time.
But police have now charged the woman in conncection with the incident.
Vazquez, of Wheatfield Road in Cronton, has been charged with drink driving and drunk in charge of a child under the age of seven.
She has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 30.
Police originally appealed for dash cam footage of the incident to help support their investigation.
