A DRIVER was taken to hospital with a head injury after a vehicle ended up on its roof after a crash.
The collision, which involved "one vehicle", took place on the A570 Rainford bypass, in the area of the roundabout near Holdi Indian restaurant, at around 7.30pm on Sunday.
Emergency services attended the scene.

A Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "MFRS attended an incident on Bushey Lane, Rainford on the evening of Sunday, August 28.
"Crews were alerted at 7.39pm and two fire engines were on scene at 7.49pm.
"On arrival, crews were met with one vehicle on its roof, the driver was out of vehicle prior to our attendance."
He added: "Firefighters provided the casualty with oxygen therapy and North West Ambulance Service were on scene moments later.
"Paramedics assessed the driver at scene, who had a head injury and conveyed the individual to hospital.
"Our crews left the scene at 8.38pm."
A road closure was in place while emergency services were in attendance.
