A WOMAN who admitted to theft, assault and drugs offences has been given a community order.

Katie Swiderek, of Phoenix Brow, St Helens, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on August 15.

Swiderek, 36, pleaded guilty to an assault by beating of a female on July 7 this year. She also admitted to stealing goods to the value of £25 from The Range in St Helens on the same date.

The 36-year-old also indicated guilty pleas to charges of possession of crack cocaine and of cannabis on August 13.

Swiderek was given a community order and must follow requirements by August 14, 2023.

These include having treatment for drug dependency for six months and undertake rehabilitation activity for up to 25 days.

She must also pay £150 in compensation and pay a £114 victim surcharge.

A previous community order Swiderek had been given in July for a theft and drugs possession offence was revoked.
