THE annual Classic Car Show returns to St Helens town centre next month.
Vintage cars of all types will be lined up for residents to admire, with awards given to the best vehicle.
The free event, organised by St Helens Borough Council and the St Helens Classic Car Association, has been a notable attraction in the town centre that brings in crowds of all ages each year.
Local charity Wonder Arts will also make an appearance in Church Street with an outdoor theatre show for all the family, as well as dancers, poets, and musicians performing in the street throughout the day.
Families will be able to enjoy a performance of 'The Wind in the Willows', 'The Rascally Diner', and many more entertainments.
Councillor Anthony Burns, St Helens Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Wellbeing, Culture and Heritage, said: "The St Helens Classic Car Show is always a great occasion, and with Wonder in the Street and Artists Together also happening that day means triple the fun.
"If the turnout is anything near like what we've had in previous years, it's sure to be a fantastic day and one that all the family can enjoy."
The event will take place on Saturday September 3 between 10-4pm in Church Street, with Wonder in the Street to start from 10:30am.
