THERE have been long delays on the M6 this morning, Wednesday.
Two lanes were closed until 8.50am due to a broken down car near to junction 21 for Croft.
It resulted in 35 minute delays and 10 miles of queues back to Bryn, junction 25.
Lanes two and three were shut although all lanes have reopened and traffic is expected to return to normal later.
The #M6 southbound between J21A (#M62) and J21 (#Warrington), 2 lanes (of 3) are closed due to a broken down vehicle. There is currently approx. 6 miles of congestion on approach, causing delays of 35 minutes above usual journey times. pic.twitter.com/qAQykFYUXJ
