EARLESTOWN was booming over the weekend as the town centre held an event.
Businesses in and around Earlestown joined forces to host Family Fun Day, their first event as a group.
The event on Saturday had a great turnout and was well received by members of the community.
Independent businesses who had stalls at the event shared their thoughts on how the day went.
Emma Hughes, owner of Little Wonders, said: "It was great to see new life brought back into Earlestown with everyone having fun and supporting local businesses.
"I had such a busy day selling my little wonders and chatting to so many lovely people. I hope we can do more in the future."
Cheryl Roberts from Drinkworthy, added: "We were so pleased to be a part of such a well organised, action-packed event.
"It was great interacting with the local community and introducing them to some drinks they may not have tried before.
"I'm excited to see the events Earlestown Thrive are doing next and I hope to be a part of them."
The day saw live music by local performers, a cosplay parade, and plenty of food, drinks, and crafts stalls placed throughout the town centre.
Stephanie Nutsey from Little Weed Boutique also commented: "Earlestown Thrive was a fantastic event. It was the best market I’ve done to date.
"Atmosphere was incredible, everyone had an amazing time. What a brilliant community."
