AN INDEPENDENT coffee shop is growing their community of customers as the town centre plans for an "exciting" regeneration process around them.
After building successful stores in Altrincham and Warrington, Two Brothers opened up in St Helens town centre in August 2021.
With a focus on handcrafting speciality coffee, the St Helens team quickly grew from their Ormskirk Street premises and opened up a small unit inside St Helens Book Stop on Bridge Street.
After previously working as the Deputy Manager at Riddling Rack wine bar in Newton-le-Willows, Emma Campbell was recently appointed as the new manager of Two Brothers in St Helens.
Building a community of the "most lovely regular customers", Emma said that it is an "exciting" time to be an independent business as the town centre plans for a huge regeneration project.
Emma, who lives in Warrington, said: "Being an independent speciality coffee shop, we offer something that is new and exciting, and it’s been great to see how the people of St Helens have responded to this and how they enjoy what we do.
"We have the most wonderful customers and I think with the regeneration plans, the town is only going to become better over the next few years.
"It's great to see more and more small businesses popping up and I think it's a great time to be an independent business in the town.
"It’s exciting that we will be here to enjoy the ride and support the town!".
After expanding the business into the Book Stop, Two Brothers have organised coffee mornings and pop-ups at other local independents so residents can grab a taste of what they have to offer.
They are also expanding the wholesale side of the business to stock Two Brothers coffee at more suppliers, with the Deli 40a in Earlestown and Municipal Bar in Manchester becoming recent stockists.
However, although the team has eyes to expand, they are not forgetting the loyal customers who have supported them on their journey.
Emma added: "It really means so much to us having people who support us not only as a speciality coffee shop, but as a small business too.
"We are surrounded by a lot of competition, so we are extremely thankful for all of our customers, whether it’s regular customers, one-off customers or trying us for the first time customers, we appreciate every single person who walks through our doors."
Emma also noted Two Brothers switch to Brazilian beans, with notes of milk chocolate, caramel and maple, she stressed it is a "must try".
