A CARE home has undergone a near-£550,000 refurbishment.
Broadoak Manor Care Home in Parr, has been upgraded after a major investment programme launched by owners HC-One.
Residents of the 120-bed facility have seen a full decoration of the home’s entrance lobby, hair salon, quiet rooms and corridors.
The home’s dining rooms have also benefitted from new flooring, furniture, decoration and lighting.
The team on site also refreshed the WCs, shower rooms and bathrooms.
There is also a newly-decorated lounge for residents, their loved ones, and Broadoak Manor’s care teams to come together and enjoy activities and social engagements in.

The residential, nursing and dementia care home's refurbishment forms part of HC-One’s £54.5 million refurbishment and upgrade programme, which will benefit 221 homes.
The works at Broadoak Manor, on Mulcrow Close, began in January 2022 and were completed in June and the company says no residents were impacted.
Lianne Webb, HC-One’s area director said: “We are committed to fostering an environment that really feels like home, and décor and facilities are an important part of this.
"We’re really excited that the plans for Broadoak Manor Care Home have now been safely completed.
"We look forward to families and friends visiting the home and seeing the end result.”
