TRAIN faced disruption earlier today due to an emergency incident.
Services were cancelled and disrupted for passengers travelling from St Helens stations to Liverpool Lime Street.
This included those looking to catch connecting trains into the city from St Helens Central affecting trains stopping at Garswood, Thatto Heath and Eccleston Park.
It also affected people travelling from Lea Green, St Helens Junction, Rainhill, Earlestown and Newton-le-Willows.
The disruption was due to a death on the railway between Liverpool Lime Street and Huyton, with all lines blocked earlier today.
