FIRE crews have been called to tackle a blaze at Sankey Valley Country Park.
Firefighters have attended the scene in Haydock this afternoon, Friday, August 12.
Crews are putting out a fire involving a quantity of straw.

A Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said: "Our crews were alerted to an incident opposite Harty Road, Haydock at 2.55pm and one fire engine was on scene at 3.02pm.
"This is a quantity of straw measuring 20 x 50m.
"Firefighting is well underway and ongoing."
