A NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD man charged in connection with a stabbing at a pub has made a first court appearance.
Officers were called to reports of a man having been wounded at The Vine Tavern on Elephant Lane, Thatto Heath at about 8.55pm on Saturday, August 6.

Paramedics treated the man for stab wounds to his arms, chest and head.
Police say it is believed that two offenders, one armed with a knife, were involved in the attack.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious, but not life-threatening.
Gareth Parr, of Gibbons Avenue, Old Eccleston, was arrested and later charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He appeared at South Sefton Magistrates' Court in Bootle on Monday, August 8.
During the hearing, the case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court.
Parr, 19, was remanded back into custody and is scheduled to next appear at the higher court on Monday, September 5.
