BREATHTAKING stunts were among the eye-catching highlights Saturday's spectacular Newton Town Show.
The event returned for its 10th anniversary year, organised by Newton and Earlestown Community Group.
Thousands descended on Mesnes Park for an action-packed day of fun for all the family.
Mayor of St Helens Cllr Sue Murphy was among those in attendance on the day.

The Town Crier got the show off to a boisterous start.
Entertainment on the day included a performance by St Helens Concert Band at the bandstand.
Meanwhile, there were two amazing shows put on by Stannage Stunt Team which wowed the watching crowds.
An RAF BBMF flyover also caught the eye during the day.
There were also Punch and Judy shows to keep the youngsters entertained.
Children’s entertainment, arts, and crafts were on site throughout the day.
