SAINTS coach Kristian Woolf revealed that home debutant Danny Hill picked up a shoulder injury in today's win over Castleford.

Jack Welsby went off in the first half for a HIA but returned - only to pick up another knock in the second.

Woolf says that Welsby will be looked after in the week and will be fit for Sunday's trip to Hull FC.

Woolf said: "Jack is a bit banged up. He copped a head knock and then has come back on and copped another knock in the ribs.

"He copped a knock in the face too, and is just a bit banged up at the moment.

"That happens sometimes in a game of footy.

"We will look after him this week and he’ll be fine for the weekend – there are no dramas there."

Saints had to do a late re-shuffle with Hill going off late in the game.

Woolf explained: "With young Dan Hill having to come off with injury and we have already had to take Robes off after Jack came back on from his head knock, we ended up with Ben Davies on the wing and Jack defending as a centre, and then him and Robes swithching in attack.

"Sometimes you have to find a way to work and that is what we did

"We have to look at what we have got available next week and haven’t gone too many weeks without changing someone on our edges in particular.

"Today young Dan Hill has copped a shoulder injury and that made it hard for him on a powerful winger opposing him – that is why we had to make that replacement late in the game."
