ST HELENS youngster Jamie Leahey will perform on the live Britain's Got Talent shows tonight.
The show is preparing to go live for the first time in two years on Monday evening.
According to reports, among those competing will be the Golden Buzzer acts, who received an automatic pass to the semi-finals.
Rainford schoolboy Jamie, 13, performed ventriloquism act with chicken puppet Chuck in the audition and earned widespread praise from the judges.
He will be looking for support from his hometown.
Jamie, a keen stage performer, learned ventriloquism over lockdown.
Asked during his first audition by David Walliams where he was from Jamie answered proudly: “St Helens.”
He told the show: “My biggest dream is in Vegas, my name up in lights."
Jamie and Chuck then had the audience and judges in stitches with their jokes, before having them up on their feet with his sing song.
Walliams told him: “You have an incredible talent - not just ventriloquism but to entertain people.
“I thought that was absolutely wonderful."
Alesha Dixon said: “I loved that - it was so slick - all while thinking I can’t believe you are 13!”
Monday evening's semi-finalists also include a gospel choir, a busker and a witch act.
BGT is on ITV at 8pm.
