St Helens Star Best Of 2022 top six nail salons revealed

After launching our new Best of 2022 competition in the St Helens Star at the end of last month, hair and then pies were the first two categories we wanted readers to decide on the borough’s best.

In our first Best of 2022 category we were looking for the best hair salons, barbers and stylists in the town with The Secret Halo on Boundary Road coming out on top.

Next up, we featured some of the best pies in St Helens with Burchall’s taking the crown.

This week, nails were the focus and after receiving dozens of nominations over the weekend we have shortlisted our top six, who will now battle it out to be named the best in St Helens.

We need your help to choose an overall Best For Nails winner from our shortlist.

There are three ways to vote:

1. Search for the Best Of post on our St Helens Star Facebook or Instagram pages and comment under the post with the name of your winner = 1 vote

2. Name your favourite in the comments section on this article via our website = 2 votes

3. Purchase a copy of this week’s St Helens Star (May 12 edition) and fill in the entry form = 5 votes

Voting officially opens today, Thursday, and closes at midnight on Monday and we will be announcing the winner next week.

One client has been going to Samantha for seven years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. She’s been described as “absolutely lovely” and a “very talented lady”.

Another nomination said: “She always goes the extra mile for her clients and is amazing at what she does, especially as she juggles her career and her three sons. She definitely deserves to be on the shortlist and then to win the award!”
