A FOOTPATH is to be closed for three weeks to enable repairs to a brook bank to be carried out.
The footway, alongside Newton Brook, is to be closed from Wednesday, May 4 until Tuesday, May 24.
The path, which runs from near Newton-le-Willows railway station car park, will be out of use for the period.
The closure on the path will be in place from near Archway Walk up to Sandra Drive.
This is to enable the rebuilding of the Newton Brook Bank.
