TV broadcaster ITV has announced the full details of their plans to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. 

Stars of Hollywood are set to take part including Tom Cruise, Dame Helen Mirren, Damian Lewis, and Omid Djalili. 

The event will be broadcasted live on ITV from the grounds of Windsor Castle on Sunday, May 15 and will be the first televised event to mark the historical occasion. 

Phillip Schofield and Julie Etchingham will host the special event as guests including Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ant & Dec, Dame Joan Collins, Sir Trevor McDonald, and more make appearances. 

There will also be musical performances from Keala Settle, Gregory Porter, and Katherine Jenkins as they pay tribute to The Queen.

Plus, ITV will also be hosting a special theatrical arena event that will have 1300 performers and 500 houses made up of four acts. 

Each act will be hosted by different hosts who are, Tom Cruise, Damian Lewis, Adjoa Andoh, and Alan Titchmarsh. 

The celebration will take viewers throughout history from the reign of Queen Elizabeth I all the way to the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. 

The legendary actor Dame Helen Mirren will take on the role of Queen Elizabeth I whilst Omid Djalili will take the role of 'The Herald'.

To mark this momentous occasion, we’ll be bringing the nation a celebratory, star-studded show, complete with show-stopping performances and an epic journey through history, told by some of the most well-renowned and respected names in film and television.” 

The event will take place in front of a live audience of 4000 over four evenings from 12 - 15th May with royal attendance each night with Sunday night being the live ITV broadcast.
