A WOMAN who had possession of two pit bull dogs has faced court.

Hayley Fairhurst, of Windle Hall Drive, Windlehurst, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on April 1.

Fairhurst, 32, pleaded guilty to two counts of having custody of a fighting dog.

She had in her possession on May 20, 2021, two pit bull-type dogs, called Pablo and Roxy, to which section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 applied.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Fairhurst was given unconditional bail until then.
