A BODY has been found in the search for a man who has been missing from home for more than two weeks.
Adam Smith, who is from Great Sankey in Warrington but has links to St Helens, was last seen on Friends Lane in Warrington at around 3.15pm, January 27.
But Cheshire Police have sadly confirmed this evening, Saturday, that a body found at Fiddlers Ferry has been identified as Adam’s.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner.
The National Police Air Support and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service assisted Cheshire Police with ‘round the clock’ searches to try and find Adam over the past two weeks.
