It even has a whole day to celebrate it, with National Pizza Day being recognised on February 9 of each year.

One review stated: “No matter what we've ordered, be it pizza , kebab , chicken or omelette,the food from l'amour is always spot on.

“Been using this place for around 4 years and can't recommend it highly enough. We are fussy over our food and have tried plenty of other places before we found l'amour.

“Never had a problem with orders and food is always on time and hot. Sat waiting for a full house kebab right now in fact. Very highly recommended.”

One reviewer said: “Had some very disappointing experiences with some of the 'bigger competition' in St Helens recently so tried this instead. Infinitely better — well cooked with very generous toppings and, most important of all, delicious. Will definitely use again.”
