POLICE officers were called to a Tesco store after two customers made threats to staff after refusing to leave the premises.
Officers attended Tesco in Earle Street, Earlestown at around 9pm on Thursday evening, January 27.
A police spokeswoman said they had been called to reports of two men, who refused to leave the shop and made threats towards staff.
They said however, security staff at the store did not wish to make a formal complaint to police.

The Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were called to Tesco at 9pm to reports of two males refusing to leave the store and making threats towards staff.
"Officers attended and found one man present.
"Security staff did not wish to make a formal complaint and said the matter would be dealt with by the store."
