A WOMAN will face a trial after she pleaded not guilty to assaulting a police officer.
Barbara Woods, of Recreation Street, Fingerpost, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court.
Woods, 34, pleaded not guilty to assault of an emergency worker during the execution of his duty.

She is accused of assaulting a police constable at Recreation Street on November 12, 2021.
The case was adjourned and Woods was granted unconditional bail.
She is due to appear for a summary trial on May 6 at Wirral Magistrates’ Court.
