The swimming pool will reopen tonight
THE swimming pool at Queens Park Health & Fitness will reopen this evening, Monday, it has been confirmed.
The pool at the Boundary Road leisure centre has been closed since Friday due to "loose trim" on the ceiling.
The council says that the pieces of loose trim have now been secured.

In a statement this evening, St Helens Council said: "A contractor has been on site at Go Active Queens Park Health and Fitness to secure the two loose pieces of trim - and the swimming pool will now reopen at 8pm this evening.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused."
