Police have arrested a 27-year-old wanted man this week.
John Hughes, of no fixed address, was jailed in 2019 for assaults in St Helens and Page Moss.
He was released from prison on licence on August 27, which was revoked on October 16.
Yesterday (Thursday, November 4), following extensive enquiries, officers located Hughes at an address on Shelmore Drive, Toxteth.
After a short foot chase he was detained, arrested and taken into custody.
