A MAN was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a central reservation off the East Lancashire Road in Haydock today (Friday).
A car was involved in the crash in the area of Liverpool Road and Slag Lane, off the East Lancs, at around 10.45am today.
A man was taken to hospital after he suffered injuries in the crash.
There was a road closure in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "There was a road traffic collision today (Friday, October 29) at around 10.45am where a car was in collusion with the central reservation on Liverpool Road and Slag Lane, off the East Lancashire Road in Haydock.
"The driver, a 62-year-old man, and was taken to hospital for his injuries.
"Road closures were in place while emergency services attended and have now lifted."
A North West Ambulance spokesman added: "We took a man in his 60s to hospital".
He said the man had suffered "non-serious injuries".
