A SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing in Prescot.
An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital in a critical condition after suffering stab wounds.
The man found with the injuries after emergency services were called to Thomas Drive at 5.30am on Monday, October 25.
A large police presence, including forensics officers and sniffer dogs, were at the scene in Prescot.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the stabbing.

Police have confirmed that a suspect has now been charged with attempted murder.
Merseyside Police said: "A 16-year-old male has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article after an 18-year-old man was stabbed on Thomas Drive, Prescot, in the early hours of Monday, October 25, 2021.
The boy will appear at Merseyside Youth Court on Wednesday, October 27.
