AS Albus Dumbledore once said, 'happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light'.
And the creators of Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience have ensured that these famous words still ring true today.
In the darkness of the woodland at Arley Hall and Gardens in Cheshire, mesmerising lights transform the landscape into a magical outdoor trail, sure to thrill and delight children and adults alike.
Whether you're a Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin, you'll be whisked away to the enchanting – and slightly spooky – world of the Forbidden Forest, complete with familiar faces and mystical creatures such as Hippogriffs, centaurs, unicorns, Nifflers and even a visit from Aragog the giant spider and his friends... if you dare.
And we're not talking about just a few twinkle lights and sound effects.
Warner Bros Themed Entertainment, in partnership with Thinkwell, Unify and Fever, have gone above and beyond in that department.
The attention to detail is simply outstanding, with countless coloured lights transforming the tree canopy above into a symphony of vivid colour, truly transporting you to another world.
And to add to the magic, you'll be able to hear some classic Potter soundtracks and your favourites characters through the trees, as if they're speaking just to you.
The effect is nothing short of stunning, and even muggles will get swept up in it.
One of the most magical moments is casting your very own Patronus which appears before your very eyes (so long as you think happy thoughts).
Just when you think things couldn't get any better, there is a special surprise at the end of the trail – an iconic moment which Harry Potter fans will definitely recognise.
But it's not over yet.
You'll next be greeted with a lively and seasonally themed village with a wide range of food and drinks – just the thing after a walk in the autumnal air.
This includes Butterbeer, sweet treats, hot chocolates, mulled wine and hearty food such as fish and chips, traditional roast dinners, pie and mash and pasties, all including vegan and gluten-free options.
There is also an on-site shop for Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts merchandise to take home so you can remember your night..
Arley Hall really is the perfect location for this magical experience, so get your wands ready, dust off your robes, and let the adventure begin.
