ST HELENS town centre welcomed visitors from out of this world as it hosted a Sci-Fi Day event.
Crowd-pleaser Titan the Robot brought a distinct blend of comedy, street theatre and music on a return to the town on Saturday.
Meanwhile, there were visits from a Galaxy Far Far Away as Star Wars characters were also in Church Square to add to the fun.
R2-D2, Darth Vader and everyone's favourite Wookiee Chewbacca were among those in town, posing for photographs and mingling with the locals.
Rocket Girl and alien stilt walkers were also in town, with entertainment also including Sci-Fi walkabout performances and a Sci-Fi themed art workshop.
The day was organised by the council’s events team and funded by the Combined Authority’s Town Centre Fund.
It was the latest of a programme of events held in Church Square, which has included a Peppa Pig visit; Dino Day; a circus; princess and superhero day and a classic car show, to help support the local economy after the coronavirus pandemic.
