COVID safety measures
People are encouraged undertake a lateral flow test before attending the event. Ideally this should be completed either the day before or in the morning of the event. Visit gov.uk to order kits to your front door or to find a collection location. Should you test positive, please do not attend.
Finally, people are asked to regularly use hand sanitisation and to socially distance whenever possible.
For the Betfred Super League Grand Final there are NO specific government requirements. However, it is recommended fans download and register on the NHS App and to have their NHS COVID Pass (or home country equivalent) available for potential inspection on arrival. Fans without the Pass or App will not be turned away.
Additionally, if any of the following apply to you, you must stay at home and follow the latest guidance at gov.uk/coronavirus:
· If you feel unwell or display any Covid-19 symptoms, even if they are mild.
· If you have been told by the NHS Test and Trace service to self-isolate.
· If you are self-isolating as a result of Covid-19 symptoms.
Bags
Every supporter attending at Old Trafford is subjected to a screening process prior to entering the stadium that includes a physical and/or visual search. In addition, there are restrictions on the size of bag that can be taken onto the stadium footprint.
Exceptions will only be made for bags containing essential medical provisions/equipment or baby changing items that require larger bags.
Bag policy:
If avoidable do not bring a bags larger than 20cm x 15cm x 5cm (8" x 6" x 2") with you to the match; this equates to a small handbag.
If your bag exceeds the recommended size, you will need to leave it in the Bag Drop area. There is a £5 charge to leave an item at a ‘Bag Drop’, with all profits going to the Manchester United Foundation.
Unfortunately pushchairs are prohibited inside the stadium, however these may also be checked in at the Bag Drop locations.
