A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash on the East Lancs this morning (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to the junction of Catchdale Moss Lane and East Lancs Road at around 7.30am to reports of a collision involving a Ford Fiesta and Renault Clio.

A police spokesman said the driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 68-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drinking driving following a roadside test and will be taken to custody.
He added both cars have been recovered and the incident has caused traffic congestion in the area.
Two people have been taken to hospital following the collision.
A Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman added: "Crews were alerted at 7.40am and on scene at 7.48am. Two fire engines attended as well as the search and rescue appliance.
"On arrival crews found two vehicles had been in a collision close to the junction of Catchdale Moss Lane.
"No one was trapped inside the vehicles.
"Two people were taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service for further assessment.
"Fire crews left the scene at 8.19am."
A North West Ambulance spokesman added: "Two patients, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital."
