A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after reports of someone in possession of a weapon making threats.
Officers arrested a suspect after being called to North Road, St Helens, today, Thursday, September 16.
Police were seen outside the YMCA this morning.

At around 10.15am officers had received a report that a man was making threats and stating he was in possession of a weapon.
Officers attended, detained and searched a 24-year-old man, of no fixed address.
No weapon was seen but police say allege suspected drugs were found.
The 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and B drugs and taken into custody for questioning.
