MOTORISTS are being warned that lane closures will be in place along a sections of the East Lancs while resurfacing works take place.
The series of closures will be carried out in the Haydock area from Wednesday, September 8, St Helens Council has said.
In a statement the local authority said:
- That from Wednesday, September 8 for two nights between 7pm and 5am lane closures will be in operation on the East Lancs between Haydock Island and Penny Lane Bridge.
- From Thursday, September 9 for two nights between 7pm and 5am lane closures will be in operation on East Lancs and the entry slip road from Piele Road will be closed to traffic.
- From Friday September 10 for two nights between 7pm and 5am lane closures will be in operation on East Lancs and the entry slip road from Millfield Lane will be closed to traffic.
