Plans have been submitted
PLANS have been drawn up to convert and extend a newsagents premises to create a bistro.
Proposals have been sent to the council seeking permission to convert the existing Dajan News at 243 City Road, Windlehurst.
Plans, submitted by applicant Cath Owen, seek to turn the shop into a cafe bistro.
They add that two full-time and one part-time job would be created by the conversion.
Proposed opening hours are from 8am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays; 9am to 4pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
A determination deadline for the planning application has been set for October 7.
