STAFF St Helens care home enjoyed a pamper hamper full of self care items thanks to the generosity of a local business.
Jack’s Supermarket on Four Acre Lane sent the goodies to Elizabeth Court Care Home as a thank you for all their hard work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The gift, which included face masks, moisturisers and body lotions as well as hand cream and other beauty products, was in celebration of ‘glad to care week’.
Craig Robinson, store manager of Jack’s St Helens, said: “Glad to care week is a really important celebration of our incredible local care workers.
“We’re very proud to be supporting such a great cause and hope that the workers at Elizabeth Court Care Home enjoyed their treats.”
#GladtoCare awareness week is a celebration of care workers, appreciating the extra lengths they go to making the residents’ lives – and the lives of their families – more comfortable.
