The bus went through the barricades at St Helens bus station
EMERGENCY crews have been called after a bus smashed through barricades at St Helens bus station.
The incident happened at the station off Corporation Street and Bickerstaffe Street in St Helens this afternoon at about 3.05pm.
Pictures show how it had gone through the central barricades that divides the bus lanes.
A police spokesperson said there are no reports of injuries and all people are off the bus.
Witnesses suggest the bus involved may have clipped another bus before careering through the barriers and hitting another bus on the other side of the railings.
The bus involved is causing an obstruction at the station.
