The incident happened at Hays Travel on Friday afernoon
A MAN will appear in court today charged in connection with a robbery a travel agents in St Helens town centre.
The incident unfolded at Hays Travel on Church Street, St Helens at about 3.15pm on Friday.
Gary Gilboy, 60, of Salisbury Avenue, Netherton, has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Monday morning
Police were called to Church Street on Friday afternoon and – assisted by three members of the public – located and arrested a suspect.
