TOM Jones' summer concert at Haydock Park racecourse has been put back until the end of August, organisers have announced.
The Jockey Club Live says that since the release of the roadmap out of lockdown it has been working behind the scenes to plan the return of live music to Haydock Park this summer.
With the planned reopening of large-scale events scheduled for Monday, June 21, the Tom Jones show will be moving from Saturday, June 19 to Saturday, August 28, 2021.
The concert will be taking place on a non-raceday and as such there will only be one enclosure (grandstand and paddock).
Organisers say any customers who have booked for other enclosures will be refunded the difference in price and tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date.
A spokesperson said: "Ticketholders will be contacted and also given the option of requesting a full refund or e-voucher to attend another music night or racing fixture of their choice."
Meanwhile, Olly Murs’ (pictured) headline performance at Haydock will continue as scheduled on Saturday, July 17, following a full six-race card.
Tickets are on sale now via thejockeyclublive.co.uk.
Tickets for Tom Jones are £43.12 for adults and £22.40 for children (inclusive of transaction fees). Children aged four and below are free of charge, children from five to 17 years old must have a ticket to attend.
