FOUR men charged with weapons offences after police recovered a firearm have appeared in court.
James McGlade, 24; Thomas Lawler, 23; Sefer Allushi, 26 and Erald Sida, 31 all appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
McGlade, of Lower Hall Street, St Helens, has been charged with selling or transferring a prohibited weapon.
Lawler, 23, of Corinto Street, Toxteth has been charged with selling or transferring a prohibited weapon and possession of ammunition.

Meanwhile, Sefer Allushi, 26, of no fixed address and Erald Sida, 31, of Nursery Road, Bloxwich, Walsall, both Albanian nationals, are also both charged with selling or transferring a prohibited weapon and possession of a firearm.
The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court where all four men will next appear on Friday, April 9.
All four defendants have been remanded into custody until then.
