A MAN who sexually abused a woman at a hospital has been sentenced to a community order.
Andrew Pickup, of The Shires, St Helens had indicated a guilty plea to the charge at an earlier hearing at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court.
Pickup, 38, intentionally touched a woman at a hospital in Liverpool on July 7 last year.
He was given a community order and must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work over 12 months.
There is also a requirement for Pickup to do up to 25 days of rehabilitation activity.

He was also made to pay £500 in compensation, a £95 surcharge to fund victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Pickup must register with the police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003 for a period of five years.
His guilty plea was taken into account as sentence was imposed.
