THIS luxurious farmhouse nestled in Snowdonia National Park is being raffled off for just £5 with one lucky winner taking the keys for the three bedroomed property.
Last year, a mum-of-two from St Helens won a £300,000 cottage with a raffle ticket costing just £5 from the same competition.
Janet Shepherd, from Rainford, won a 200-year-old cottage, in North Wales, after entering a competition back in March 2020.
The competition was being run by Katherine Jablonowska and Ryan Mclean, who decided to raffle off the home as a prize, with tickets costing £5 each.
Now the same is happening again Cefn Isa Farmhouse, owned by David and Christine Jones, valued at £485,000.
The house is located just a few moments drive from both the stunning coastline of the Llyn Peninsula, and the rugged beauty of Snowdonia National Park.
The couple, who moved to the area and purchased the property in 2019 for £200,000, lived on site and spent over 15 months painstakingly transforming it into their dream retirement home in a community that they have grown to love, before ultimately making the difficult decision to abandon that dream to take care of family members after a difficult year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Front line care home worker Christine said “Wales is such a special place for us. David’s mother and father were born in South Wales and I went to school in Bala in the 1970’s.
“We couldn’t believe our luck when we found Cefn Isa Farmhouse, and immediately fell in love with the beautiful and unique surroundings. We could see how it must have been at it’s best.
“None of us thought we would be living in anything like the current situation, and because of it, we have made the difficult decision to return to the Lincolnshire area where most of our family live, so we can be closer and support them better.”
The couple have also chosen to raise money for The Children’s Society during the competition.
Military Veteran David said, “We’ve supported The Children’s Society for a long time, and we thought what better way to help during the pandemic than raising money for the most vulnerable children.
“We chose to sell the farmhouse through a competition because everybody wins. We’re able to get the full market value for our home, The Children’s Society gets money they need to help, and someone is going to get a wonderful home for free.
“We sincerely hope that whoever wins, chooses to live here and enjoy it for how unique it is, and appreciate all the work that has been put into bringing it back to life.”
Instead of organising the competition themselves, the couple chose to enlist the services of CwellynDream Raffle Management, run by Katherine Jablonowska and Ryan Mclean.
Katherine added: “It’s our sole aim to provide our clients with a trustworthy and transparent process to get the maximum value for their property, especially in these uncertain times.
"And it’s so wonderful to be able to support UK charities in such a meaningful way, while giving someone the life changing opportunity to win a beautiful home. We all deserve more reasons to smile these days.”

The prize draw will take place on June 22 2021 at noon.
