PLANS have been submitted to the council seeking permission to increase the capacity of a house of multiple occupation (HMO).
Proposals have been sent in by applicant Rehan Mohammed regarding the HMO on 49 Wargrave Road, Newton-le-Willows.

The proposals state: "The premises has seven bedrooms and is used as a HMO.
"Currently if used for a six-bedroom HMO, planning permission is not required. "However we would like to use it for seven-bedroom HMO.
"All bedrooms are there and the previous owner used it as a seven-bedroom HMO".
Plans are on standard consultation to the public until Monday, March 8.
A determination deadline has been set for the plans for Friday, April 9.
